Manufacturing Engineer, CNC Machinist

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs to support efficient and high-quality production. This role requires strong programming skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with machinists, engineers, and production leadership.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, edit, and optimize CNC programs for milling and/or turning operations
Program using Fusion 360 (required) and ESPRIT (required)
Select appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, and machining strategies
Support shop floor operations by troubleshooting programs and resolving machining issues
Review blueprints, CAD models, and specifications to ensure accurate programming
Improve cycle times, tool life, and overall machining efficiency
Work closely with CNC machinists to ensure smooth program execution
Maintain program documentation and revision control
Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
Minimum of 3 years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment
Fusion 360 experience is required
ESPRIT programming experience is required
Strong understanding of CNC milling and/or turning processes
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
Knowledge of tooling, fixturing, and machining best practices
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Experience in aerospace, foundry, or high-precision manufacturing environments
Familiarity with multi-axis machining (3, 4, or 5-axis)
Experience working with tight tolerances and complex parts
Manufacturing / shop floor environment
May require standing, walking, and lifting within safety guidelines
