Ensure quality and timeliness in welding tasks as part of the metal Fabrication production function in the facility.

• Promote safe work habits at all times in and out of Metal Fabrication and Welding.
• Read and accurately interpret blueprints.
• Safely, accurately and efficiently fit and weld assemblies per print utilizing GMAW and FCAW processes.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained in welding area. Complete in-process inspection documents.
• Assist Metal Fabrication staff as needed.
• Maintain welding area and all welding machines.
• Complete accurate time sheets for work performed.
• Assist inventory staff in maintaining accurate counts.

  - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, looks for ways to improve and promote quality. Monitor own work to ensure quality. Applies feedback to improve performance.
• Learning – Demonstrates ability to learn from self and learn from others. Resourceful in searching for and obtaining knowledge necessary to perform assigned tasks.
• Attendance/punctuality
  - Consistently at work and on time. Communicate with plenty of time when will not be ive at meetings and appointments on time
• Dependability- take responsibility for own action. Commit to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals. Willing to work overtime whenever necessary.
• Safety- must have an outstanding safety record and follow all safety policies and procedures. Participate in safety training and meetings. Maintain clean and safe work area. Report all injuries/accidents near misses immediately to supervisor or a member of management. Report all unsafe acts and conditions. Use equipment and materials properly.
