CIRCOR is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner to play a key role in driving operational excellence within our manufacturing environment. In this role, you’ll own production planning and material flow processes that directly impact on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Purchasing, Production, Engineering, and Leadership to ensure materials move efficiently through the facility, proactively identify risks, and continuously improve planning systems and processes.

Principal Activities- Plan, prepare, and control production schedules and coordinate with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved material times to meet production requirements.
- Determine material requirements for engineering and production schedules.
- Coordinate the efficient movement of materials with purchasing and production.
- Responsible for scheduling, requisitioning and monitoring the movement of material through the production facility and will work on a wide variety of complex planning activities where material requirements are new or variable.
- Ability to devise and augment spreadsheets to enhance planning’s ability to proactively communicate information with a sense of urgency.
- Advise management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems.
- Liaise with stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Identify areas of improvement for planning in the MRP system and work with Planning Manager on impact-based solutions.
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within Work orders.
- Plan and schedule project timeliness and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements, documentation and presentations.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Minimum of 3 years of planning experience within a manufacturing company
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance, Accounting, Materials, Business a plus
- Must have experience working within a manufacturing environment using MRP/ERP systems
