1 PM – 9 PM, Monday – Friday

6‑month contract

• File, smooth, and shape ceramic cores using hand tools and precision instruments.
• Inspect cores for cracks, chips, or dimensional defects to ensure compliance with engineering specifications.
• Perform minor repairs or touch‑ups to maintain product integrity.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following all safety protocols.
• Document work performed and report any quality issues to supervisors and team leads.

• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to read, interpret, and adhere to technical drawings and procedural documentation.
• Experience with fine hand‑finishing or similar precision work preferred.

• Complete understanding of Core Finishing processes (Level I, II, and III).

• Understanding of written sentences and paragraphs in work‑related documents.

• Conduct tests and inspections of products or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
• Monitor and assess performance of yourself or others to make improvements or take corrective action.
• Manual dexterity: quick hand movements, arranging objects, coordinated finger movements for small objects.
• Pattern recognition and ordering according to rules.
• Close visual detail recognition.
• Steady hand and arm while moving forearm or holding hands in one position.

High school education or equivalent life experience and three to six months related experience or training.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to record information daily. Ability to follow instructions in English. Ability to write and speak complete sentences and understand verbal and written instructions in English.

Ability to add and subtract two‑ and three‑digit numbers and to perform simple multiplication and division.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Regularly required to stand, walk, climb, or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms. Must lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, ability to distinguish between colors, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus to recognize defects in patterns.

Regularly works near moving mechanical parts. Noise level usually moderate. Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
