** Job Summary
** Job Description Summary  A Line Controller at Anchor Glass's Shakopee, MN plant will visually examine containers to ensure proper specifications. Packs ware into containers if automatic equipment is not utilized. Supplies empty cartons and places filled cartons on conveyors. Activates automatic machines. Places ware off or on lines as necessary. Un-jams equipment such as conveying lines, inspection equipment and case packers as necessary.

Prepares paperwork such as production tally sheets. This position is essential to maintaining production line flow of conveying lines.
** MAIN POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES****:
** Job Description Individuals will be trained Monday-Friday 8am-4pm and then assigned to a crew to work rotating shifts.

Rotating shift work involves working 7 consecutive days of an 8am-4pm shift followed by 3 days off, then working 7 consecutive days of a 12mid-8am shift followed by 2 days off and then working 7 consecutive days of a 4pm-12mid shift followed by two days off and then starting back on the 8-4 shift.

This amounts to working 21 days with 7 days off in a 28-day cycle.
