Shift: 09:00pm-05:00am

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Carefully file, smooth, and shape ceramic cores using hand tools, , and precision instruments.

• Inspect cores for cracks, chips, or dimensional defects, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications.

• Perform minor repairs (patch) or touch-ups to maintain product integrity.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following all safety protocols.

• Document work that has been performed and report any quality issues to supervisors and team leads.
Responsibilities

• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

• Ability to read, interpret and adhere to technical drawings and read procedural documentation.

• Experience with fine hand-finishing or similar precision work preferred.

• Commitment to quality and safety standards.

• Able to safely and efficiently operate machinery and tooling

• Strong mechanical aptitude

• Open-minded, willing to learn

• Strong team player

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Must comply with internal Safety and 6S Standards

• Detailed Oriented

• Complete understanding of Core Finishing processes (lvl I, II and III)

Quals-
- A Ceramic Core Finisher is responsible for the precise finishing, inspection, and preparation of ceramic cores used in investment casting processes. This role ensures that each core meets strict dimensional, surface, and quality standards before being delivered for casting.

• Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents.

• Conducting tests and inspections of products or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
Minimum Abilities

• Monitor/Assess performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.

• The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.

• The ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects.

• The ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, mathematical operations).

• The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).

• The ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school education or equivalent life experience and three to six months related experience or training. Ability to learn and to operate all injection machines and perform all functions of wax injection operation to include placement of patterns in wax setters or fixtures after injection.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and work instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to record information on a daily basis.
