Core Finisher (2nd Shift)

Base Pay: $16.00/hr - $18.00/hr

Core Finisher responsible for precise finishing, inspection, and preparation of ceramic cores used in investment casting processes.

• Carefully file, smooth, and shape ceramic cores using hand tools and precision instruments.
• Inspect cores for cracks, chips, or dimensional defects, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications.
• Perform minor repairs or touch-ups to maintain product integrity.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following all safety protocols.
• Document work performed and report quality issues to supervisors and team leads.
• Operate machinery and tooling safely and efficiently.

• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to read, interpret, and adhere to technical drawings and procedural documentation.
• Experience with fine hand‑finishing or similar precision work preferred.
• Commitment to quality and safety standards.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Open‑minded, willing to learn.
• Strong team player and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must comply with internal Safety and 6S Standards.
• Detail oriented.
• Complete understanding of Core Finishing processes (Level I, II, and III).

2nd Shift – 1 PM to 9 PM

Regularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; use hands to handle objects and tools; reach with hands and arms. Must regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 25 lb, occasionally up to 50 lb. Work near moving mechanical parts; exposure to fumes or airborne particles; noise level moderate.
