Industrial Maintenance Technician – Altium Packaging

Join Altium Packaging as an Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform repairs, preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, plant blow mold equipment and facility, while following Good Manufacturing Practices.

Location: 4961 Distribution Drive, Tampa, FL 33605

Shift: 8hr – 3rd Shift (United States of America)

• Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and applicable regulations.
• Install, adjust, and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer, and other related equipment.
• Perform mold, neck tooling changes, and other equipment changes.
• Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses, valves, and pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep machines in optimal processing condition.
• Weld, fabricate, and repair various machines.
• Troubleshoot, locate root problems, and repair blow mold, baggers, and support equipment.
• May operate blow mold or injection machines.
• Communicate with other departments on a frequent basis.
• Receive instructions on specific job tasks from Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician or Supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

• Basic mathematical skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Excellent attention to detail.

• 2+ years maintenance experience in the manufacturing industry.
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
• OSHA Forklift certification.

Stand; walk; use hands to handle; reach; lift up to 50 pounds.

Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, loud noise, and temperature variations. Personal protective equipment required.
