Practice Suite is seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Sales to lead and scale our Sales Solutions organization, overseeing both inside and outside sales teams. This role is responsible for developing sales strategy, managing and mentoring sales representatives, driving revenue growth, and ensuring alignment with company objectives.
The Director of Sales will play a critical leadership role in building high-performing sales teams, optimizing processes, and expanding Practice Suite’s market presence.
Key Responsibilities- Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for inside and outside sales channels to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Translate company goals into actionable sales plans, forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Identify new market opportunities, verticals, and growth initiatives for Sales Solutions.
- Team Management & Development
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of inside and outside sales representatives, including managers where applicable.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and retain top sales talent.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, goal setting, and coaching sessions to ensure individual and team success.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Own sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting to executive leadership.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure consistent execution of sales processes, CRM usage, and reporting standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Operations teams to align messaging, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.
- Provide feedback from the field to improve products, positioning, and customer experience.
- Support strategic sales opportunities, including key accounts and enterprise-level deals.
- Represent Practice Suite at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and partners to drive long-term value.
- 7+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3–5 years in a sales leadership role.
- Proven experience managing both inside and outside sales teams.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) and data-driven sales management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Experience in healthcare technology, SaaS, or practice management solutions.
- Experience scaling sales teams in a growth-oriented environment.
- Strong understanding of consultative and solution-based selling.
