, candidates must first demonstrate excellence as a General Manager at one of our locations. This ensures every future Area Manager fully understands our brand standards, operational systems, and people-first culture from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations across multiple Salem’s Fresh Eats restaurants.
- Operational Leadership (continued): Ensure all locations meet company standards for service, cleanliness, food quality, and guest satisfaction.
- Operational Leadership (continued): Conduct regular site visits to assess performance, coach managers, and implement improvement plans.
- Team Development: Recruit, train, and support General Managers and Assistant Managers to build high-performing teams.
- Team Development (continued): Conduct performance evaluations, provide mentorship, and create development plans for future leaders.
- Team Development (continued): Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and growth.
- Financial & Operational Performance: Manage budgets and profitability across assigned locations.
- Financial & Operational Performance (continued): Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including sales, labor, food costs, and customer satisfaction.
- Financial & Operational Performance (continued): Develop strategies to increase sales and optimize operational efficiency.
- Quality, Safety & Compliance: Maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
- Quality, Safety & Compliance (continued): Ensure compliance with all company policies, brand standards, and health/safety regulations.
- Quality, Safety & Compliance (continued): Conduct audits and address operational issues proactively.
- Proven experience as a General Manager or Multi-Unit Leader in a restaurant, QSR, or hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence and developing others.
- Financial acumen with experience managing P&L and performance metrics.
- Passion for guest service and team engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of management experience in the restaurant industry.
- Prior Salem’s Fresh Eats management experience is highly preferred for advancement.
- Must be flexible to travel between restaurant locations.
- Available to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Fast-paced, hands-on leadership environment.
- Must have valid Driver's License.
