Duties, Responsibilities & Other
- Inspect landscape projects to ensure compliance with contract documents.
- Produce photo‑documented reports.
- Maintain daily records and track work progress.
- Communicate professionally with contractors and others.
- Identify construction deficiencies, evaluate corrective actions, and formulate responses.
- Collaborate and coordinate with other team members.
- Attend construction progress meetings.
Degrees/Licenses
- Green industry Certifications – ISA, LIAF, FNGLA.
- Valid Florida Driver’s License.
Skills
- Excellent knowledge of Florida plants and Florida Grades & Standards for nursery plants.
- Current knowledge of landscape installation & maintenance procedures and horticultural practices.
- Working knowledge of irrigation systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of methods, tools & equipment used in the industry.
- Thorough understanding of construction plans, specifications, and details.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Ambitious and committed to excellence.
- Manage multiple projects and adapt to ever‑changing schedules.
- Ability to travel throughout Florida.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
- High school/GED.
- Ability to understand construction plans, specifications, and procedures.
- Basic math skills, including geometry and trigonometry.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently.
- Works effectively as a team member and completes daily reports by hand & computer.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations Required
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to pass and maintain required certifications.
