Job Description: As the General Manager of Whiskey Joe's Tampa, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations. We are seeking a seasoned professional with a passion for hospitality, a keen business acumen, and a drive for excellence. The General Manager will lead a dedicated team, ensuring that our guests receive top-notch service and that all operational goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead by example, motivating and inspiring staff to deliver exceptional service. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure team members reach their full potential.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage day-to-day operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory management, and vendor relations. Ensure 100% compliance with health and safety regulations and uphold quality standards.
  • Guest Experience: Uphold Whiskey Joe's reputation for providing an outstanding guest experience. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively, maintaining a high level of satisfaction.
  • Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Implement strategies to optimize revenue, minimize costs, and maximize profitability.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional activities, events, and campaigns. Utilize social media and other channels to engage with customers and drive business.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive business growth and enhance the restaurant's competitive position in the market.
  • Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships within the local community and industry networks. Represent Whiskey Joe's at events and engage in outreach efforts to cultivate brand loyalty.
  • Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in high-volume restaurant management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role (at least 3 years at GM level).
    • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on 5-star guest service.
    • Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including staffing, inventory, and financial management.
    • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
    • Experienced and successful in risk mitigation in Employee Relations practices.
    • Proven success in risk mitigation from a safety standpoint.
    • Demonstrated track record of driving business results and achieving financial targets.
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
