Chief Engineer

Summary

This position reports directly to the Director of Engineering to ensure a smooth operation. As Chief Engineer, you will oversee all mechanical equipment on property while delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external guests.

You will be responsible for managing all maintenance, mechanical systems, Kitchen Equipment and repairs throughout the property, including maintaining the property’s pools and related equipment to required standards.

• 3-5 years of mechanical equipment experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree or Technical School experience preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
• Ability to train and mentor team members
• Ability to operate mechanical equipment and tools such as scissor lifts and forklifts
• Excellent English communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking fluently
• Proficiency in computer software such as Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
• Ability to read building drawings, schematics, and diagrams
• Ability to perform basic electrical work, plumbing, kitchen equipment repairs while managing maintenance programs for all equipment
