Position Summary: Jorgensen

FM is currently seeking a full-time Facilities Maintenance Technician with five-plus years of experience in a commercial environment with a focus on customer service, exceptional technical skills, and an aptitude for facilities maintenance. This position is a hands-on technician position responsible for maintaining tolling plazas/gantries and DOT offices. Conducting work to ensure the safety of themselves and the traveling public. We will provide a company vehicle, all necessary tools, and training for the right individual.

The locations covered will be assigned by your supervisor in Tampa Area.

Experience And Skills Required

• Generators - maintenance, repair and emergency service
• Electrical - minor repairs and troubleshooting including light fixtures, ballasts, outlets, switches, and breakers.
• Familiarity with UPS and fire / life / safety systems
• Roofing - maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting
• Plumbing - minor restroom repair of toilets, sinks, and fixtures
• General Building - doors & hardware, furniture & hardware, bulletin boards, etc.
• HVAC / CRAC Units - EPA Certified, preventative and corrective maintenance, system monitoring, installations as needed. Air-cooled water chiller knowledge a plus
• Troubleshooting - diagnosing problems, taking meter readings, referring to manufacturer specifications
• Computer Skills - email, scheduling, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
• Oversight of subcontractors as needed
• Ability to work outdoors
• Self-starter
• Customer interface (communications, problem-solving, work prioritization & scheduling)
• English language required (Bilingual preferred)

Schedule:

Full time;
Day shift, Monday through Friday. Ability to work nights and weekends as required.

Salary

Based on experience, plus benefits.
