SummaryCreate and maintain world-class reverse logistics processes within an assigned region/retail network to increase pool turn rate, reduce asset loss, and deliver the best customer service experience to our external retail customers and internal partners.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with assigned reverse logistics 3PLs, transport partners, operations, and sales teams.
- Ensure accurate daily inventory reporting practices at reverse logistics 3PLs.
- Manage proper inventory levels
- Work with the transportation and planning departments at IFCO to ensure timely pick-ups and deliveries.
- Schedule and follow through with grower customer returns in the assigned region.
- Collaborate with retail and supply chain teams to execute network, transport, and routing changes to drive improvements in turn rate in the assigned geography and reductions in loss/damage rate.
- Deliver continuous improvements in collection costs.
- Work with our retail team to share metrics and performance, as well as to build a better understanding of our relationship with the retailer and the specifics of their supply chains.
- Bachelor’s degree required in a related field (Supply Chain / Business)
- Proficient in MS Office with Advanced Excel
- Understanding of transport and supply chain
- Desired minimum 2 years of Supply Chain and/or Transportation experience
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results
- History of working in a fast-paced environment
- Inventory Management experience preferred
- Prior experience with SAP
- Problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and constraints
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Willingness to learn and adjust approach to achieve results
- Demonstrated self-starter
