With a strong market reputation across business, real estate, and corporate transactional law - the firm handles high-value commercial and construction litigation, while maintaining the personalized service, autonomy, and balanced-culture of a boutique practice.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a litigation attorney seeking less grind and more meaningful case ownership, close mentorship, and the ability to develop a long-term, individualized practice in the Tampa Bay market.

About The Role

The Associate Attorney will work on complex and challenging matters involving commercial disputes, real estate‑related litigation, and construction defect cases. In addition to quality work, the firm values integrity, exceptional client service, and a supportive team environment.

This position offers:

  • Exposure to high‑level B2B, commercial, and construction litigation
  • Hands‑on, substantive work from day one
  • Direct mentorship from seasoned litigators
  • Strong long‑term growth potential and practice development support

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft motions, pleadings, discovery, memoranda, and other legal filings
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and contribute to case strategy
  • Manage and assist with construction defect litigation and related matters
  • Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients, experts, and opposing counsel
  • Support senior attorneys on major cases and independently manage assigned matters

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of civil, commercial, or business litigation experience
  • Construction defect or construction litigation experience preferred (not required)
  • Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Admission to the Florida Bar (or pending admission)
  • Ability to work collaboratively while managing multiple deadlines
  • Certifications such as Board Certification (Construction Law), LEED, or Construction Management are a plus
  • Competitive salary (commensurate with experience)
  • 100% employer‑paid Medical & Vision insurance
  • Generous PTO, sick leave, and paid holidays
  • Disability insurance
  • Free covered parking
  • Optional life insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Time‑and‑a‑half overtime pay for hours over 40/week
