Job Overview:
A well-established, law firm operating across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Florida is seeking a seasoned Employment Litigation Associate. Location:
Tampa, FL
Duties:
Represent employers in non-union employment litigation matters
Handle cases independently from inception through trial
Appear in federal and state courts for hearings, motions, and trials
Draft and argue motions, including summary judgments
Conduct depositions and manage discovery
Provide counsel to clients on litigation strategy and risk assessment
Collaborate with team members on complex litigation matters
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of law firm experience focused on Employment Litigation (non-union)
Licensed to practice law in at least one of the following: PA, NJ, NY, or FL
Demonstrated courtroom experience in both federal and state courts
Strong organizational and case management skills
Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative and solutions-oriented approach
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Active Bar license in PA, NJ, NY, and/or FL (at least one is required)
