ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Support senior attorneys in labor and employment matters.
- Assist in developing strategies to address and resolve employment, education, and labor disputes.
- Conduct thorough legal research on labor, education, and employment laws, regulations, and precedents.
- Advise clients on labor, education, and employment issues, including employment contracts, workplace policies, and compliance matters.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Prepare for hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
- Assist in negotiating and drafting employment agreements, collective bargaining agreements, separation agreements, and other related documents.
- 2+ years of overall experience managing cases, overseeing discovery, taking, and defending depositions, drafting pleadings, writing briefs, and preparing and arguing motions.
- Florida Bar admission is required.
- Strong legal writing and research skills are required.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are required.
- Enjoys working onsite in a diversely collaborative, yet autonomous work culture.
