Job Summary / Introduction We are partnering with a growing property and casualty insurer to identify an experienced Commercial Lines Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and performance of commercial property insurance products. This role sits at the intersection of product, pricing, underwriting, and regulatory strategy and plays a critical role in driving profitable growth across the commercial portfolio.

The ideal candidate combines deep commercial property expertise with strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate across actuarial, underwriting, claims, IT, and regulatory teams to bring products from concept through execution and ongoing optimization.### Detailed

Job Description The Commercial Lines Product Manager will own the end to end management of commercial property insurance products, including product design, coverage structure, rating, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory filings. This role is responsible for ensuring products are competitive, compliant, and aligned with portfolio profitability and growth objectives.

Key responsibilities include monitoring and analyzing portfolio performance across profitability, loss ratios, growth, retention, claims frequency and severity, and exposure concentrations. The Product Manager will identify underperforming or high risk segments and recommend corrective actions through pricing, underwriting, or product changes.

The role requires ongoing market and competitive analysis to assess pricing, coverage offerings, eligibility, and distribution strategies across multiple states. Close partnership with actuarial, underwriting, claims, reinsurance, IT, operations, and sales teams is essential to align product strategy with broader business goals.

This position leads the development and maintenance of policy forms, rating structures, rating rules, and underwriting manuals, and manages regulatory filings with state departments of insurance in collaboration with actuarial and risk management teams. The Product Manager also supports pricing strategy through data driven insights, monitors legislative and regulatory developments, and drives product and rate changes through implementation, including coordination with IT systems and external vendors.

Additional responsibilities include supporting agent and policyholder communications related to product updates and new initiatives, collaborating with data teams to develop reporting and dashboards, and mentoring junior team members or product analysts as needed.### ### Skills & Experience
** Education
* * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Preferred fields include Actuarial Science, Business, Economics, Insurance, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Risk Management.
** Experience
* * 5 to 8 years of experience within commercial insurance, with a strong focus on commercial property. Prior experience in product management, underwriting, actuarial or pricing, or portfolio analytics is highly preferred.

Experience with Florida commercial property insurance is a plus.
** Skills and Knowledge
** Strong command of commercial lines insurance products, policy forms, rating methodologies, and underwriting principles   Demonstrated ability to analyze portfolio performance and translate data into actionable product strategy   Proven experience leading cross functional initiatives and managing complex projects   Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels   Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools;

experience with SQL, Tableau, or similar platforms preferred   Experience working with policy administration systems and IT implementation projects   Knowledge of regulatory filing processes and tools such as SERFF and IRFS   Strong market and competitive research capabilities   Highly organized, adaptable, and effective in fast paced, regulated environments   Collaborative, solutions oriented mindset with the ability to drive results
