Role Description

The Medicare Sales Agent position is a full-time, on-site role based in Tampa, FL. The primary responsibilities of this role include building relationships with clients, providing guidance on Medicare plans, presenting and selling insurance products tailored to client needs, and delivering exceptional customer service. Agents will take 100% inbound calls. Working hours are 9 am to 5:30 pm Monday-Friday, with the exception of overtime hours required during peak season (October through December).

The pay structure is hourly rate plus commission.

Qualifications
  • Active license to sell health insurance products in Florida (2-15 or 2-40) (Required to apply)
  • Proven Sales experience (1 year or more preferred)
  • Experience with health insurance sales (1 year or more preferred)
  • 2026 AHIP certification, or willingness to obtain within 2-4 weeks of job offer (required)
  • Prior Medicare experience is preferred, but we will consider applicants with comparable insurance/sales experience
  • Proficiency in maintaining compliance with Medicare standards and regulations
  • Demonstrated phone skills and ability to handle objections
