Harrison Gray Search has partnered with one of the longest-standing agencies in Florida to help them find a Commercial Lines Account Executive. The agency is known for its personalized services, long-term client relationships, and community involvement.
Position:
Account Executive (Commercial Lines)
Reports To: Director of Commercial Lines Operations
Status: Exempt
Summary
The Account Executive serves as the primary contact for clients and carriers, delivering comprehensive insurance and risk management services with a focus on client retention and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a book of business consisting of a variety of accounts from mid to large.
- Work with multiple producers on the largest book of business with our client.
- Handle daily account servicing, including policy changes, audits, certificates of insurance, and renewals.
- Prepare client proposals, invoices, and documentation using agency management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Develop a deep understanding of client businesses to provide coverage recommendations and identify account growth opportunities.
- Support producers with new business development, including marketing submissions.
- Build and maintain strong carrier relationships.
- Facilitate claims reporting and service, including loss-sensitive and captive programs.
- Ensure compliance with agency workflows and procedures.
- Participate in client and carrier meetings, both virtual and in-person.
- Captive experience is a plus.
Qualifications
- License: 220 FL General Lines Property & Casualty License (or equivalent).
- Experience: 3+ years of experience with mid to large commercial P&C clients.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in AMS 360 and Image Right (preferred), and Microsoft Office. Familiarity with property research tools is a plus.
- Professional Designations: AAI, CIC, CRIS, or CPCU (preferred or in progress).
