• Infosys is seeking a Lead GIS Developer
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Tampa, FL or willing to relocate to the area. Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• Develop advanced GIS web applications using the ArcGIS API for JavaScript 4.x, React, and Type Script, deliver responsive, high performance mapping interfaces and custom widgets that enhance user workflows.
• Implement and optimize geospatial data processing workflows, building and tuning Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, and packages; automate spatial analytics using Python and Arc Py to support enterprise data pipelines.
• Configure, publish, and maintain GIS services within ArcGIS Enterprise, including Portal, ArcGIS Server, and Data Store; manage service definitions, item metadata, security, and performance troubleshooting.
• Contribute to GIS system integration efforts, developing and consuming REST services, integrating with Oracle Spatial, FME, and third party CAD/GIS tools such as Micro Station product, with optional telecom domain data models.
• Apply Dev Ops practices to GIS development, including version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and participation in Agile ceremonies to ensure consistent code quality and predictable delivery.
• Provide senior level technical guidance, mentoring junior developers, communicating technical concepts to non technical stakeholders, and contributing to innovation initiatives such as AI enabled GIS solutions (e.g., predictive modeling, spatial ML workflows).
• 4+ years of experience implementing and supporting Esri technologies in enterprise environments.
• Proven experience designing and implementing GIS web map application and system architectures using Esri platforms, including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Pro.
• Strong Hands‑on experience in developing ESRI JavaScript 4.X applications with React framework, Type Script.
• Hands‑on experience in Oracle PL/SQL, including advanced stored procedures, functions, packages, and performance tuning.
• Strong experience leveraging Python and the Arc Py library.
• Strong understanding of GIS architecture patterns, system integration approaches, and enterprise‑level data and service flows.
• Hands‑on experience in administration, configuration, and monitoring of ArcGIS Enterprise components (Portal, ArcGIS Server, Data Store, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and deployment strategies for web and database applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Self‑motivated and capable of working independently and leading the team, while also contributing to team‑based projects and goals.
• Knowledge on Artificial Intelligence (AI) implementation in GIS world.
• Familiarity with Oracle Spatial and FME; advantage with Telecom Domain and Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of Micro Station, Autodesk GIS products.
