We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support our Master Data Management (MDM) function, with a strong focus on compliance data within SAP S/4
HANA. This role will partner closely with the MDM team and business stakeholders to identify, analyze, and resolve data discrepancies, improve reporting, and support ongoing data cleanup initiatives.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys digging into data, solving root-cause issues, and translating findings into actionable insights for business partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the MDM Manager and Senior Manager to support data initiatives and prioritize open items
- Identify, analyze, and resolve data discrepancies within compliance and asset data
- Investigate and remediate known issues, including large-scale duplicate maintenance plans resulting from system conversion upgrades
- Merge and cleanse thousands of duplicate asset maintenance records
- Develop, enhance, and maintain reports to improve data visibility and quality
- Run queries in SAP S/4
HANA and Snowflake to extract and analyze data - Utilize SQL to investigate issues and support reporting needs
- Communicate findings, trends, and remediation plans clearly to business stakeholders
- Support ongoing data governance and data quality improvement efforts
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or similar role
- Strong SQL skills (ability to write complex queries independently)
- Experience working with SAP, preferably SAP S/4
HANA - Experience with Snowflake or other cloud-based data platforms
- Proven experience with data cleansing, data reconciliation, and root-cause analysis
- Experience building and refining reports for business users
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives
- Experience working with asset management or compliance systems
- Exposure to large-scale system conversions or data migrations
- Understanding of maintenance plans or enterprise asset management data structures
