Data Scientist

Akkodis is seeking a Data Scientist for a Contract with a client in Tampa, FL (Remote). This role requires a highly skilled Data Scientist with strong machine learning and predictive analytics expertise.

$45/hour to $47/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Develop and implement machine learning and predictive intelligence models to support business decision‑making and strategic initiatives.
• Conduct advanced data mining, exploratory analysis, and feature engineering across large and complex datasets.
• Translate analytical findings into clear insights and present results directly to senior partners, managing directors, and executive stakeholders.
• Build and validate predictive analytics pipelines using statistical techniques, ML algorithms, and Python as needed.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define data requirements, refine models, and integrate analytical solutions into business processes.
• Ensure data quality, model accuracy, and scalability while contributing to continuous improvement of analytics frameworks.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related analytical field.
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, and predictive analytics.
• Strong experience with predictive intelligence, machine learning modeling, and advanced data mining techniques.
• Ability to communicate analytical findings effectively to senior partners, MDs, and directors, with hands‑on proficiency in Python preferred.
