About

The Role

The IT Logistics Technical Specialist is dedicated to ensuring the efficient management of inventory, shipping, receiving, and distribution of products, with a focus on delivering customized solutions such as laptop deployments according to customer specifications, configuring IP Phones, updating IOS on devices and consolidating into network gear as needed. By collaborating with cross‑functional teams, this role plays a key part in optimizing supply chain operations, supporting the company’s operational goals, and driving customer satisfaction.

The IT Logistics Technical Specialist strives to maintain a reliable and customer‑focused logistics function, continuously improving processes to ensure timely product deliveries and adapt to the evolving needs of the business.

The IT Logistics Technical Specialist will support our day‑to‑day IT hardware operations. This role is responsible for configuring end‑user devices, assisting with basic network hardware tasks, and managing inbound/outbound shipments and inventory of IT equipment. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in IT support and operational logistics, with the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Image, configure, and deploy laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
  • Set up, configure, and/or troubleshoot VoIP phones and peripheral hardware.
  • Perform basic network device maintenance and providing console access to engineering teams.
  • Support staging and preparation of IT hardware for end users and infrastructure projects.
  • Manage inbound and outbound shipments of IT equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets and inventory in tracking systems.
  • Coordinate with vendors and couriers for timely hardware deliveries and returns.
  • Organize and manage stockroom or IT equipment storage areas.
Job Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or IT operations.
  • Experience imaging and deploying end‑user devices (Windows/macOS).
  • Familiarity with network devices and basic CLI tasks.
  • Experience with inventory systems or asset tracking tools.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment (up to ~60 lbs) as needed.
  • Willingness to lead projects and assignments, driving new ideas to completion.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships and maintain attention to detail.
  • Ability to organize, plan, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Adaptability to changes in routine and responsive to internal/external customer needs.
  • Proficient in computer use, including network management and diagnostic tools for troubleshooting.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to research and recommend solutions for current or proposed products.
  • Ability to work independently while troubleshooting and resolving issues.

The salary for this position is $20/hr - $22/hr we offer a competitive benefits package with Med/Dental/FSA/401(k)/Flexible Paid Time Off.
