We’re building a next-generation payroll platform designed for modern startups — automated, intelligent, and compliance-first. We believe payroll is not just a utility — it’s infrastructure. And infrastructure deserves clarity, not clutter.

We’re looking for someone who can turn complexity into clarity.

Someone who can turn user stories into signal.

Someone who can make payroll interesting.

You will own our narrative.

This is not a “blog writer” role. This is a founding storytelling role.

You will:

• Craft high-signal content that cuts through AI noise
• Develop and execute SEO strategy targeting payroll, compliance, and startup founders
• Convert product features into compelling stories
• Turn user stories into structured user manuals and educational resources
• Create payroll explainers that founders actually understand
• Build authority content around:
  • Multi-state payroll
  • Compliance automation
  • Tax filings (941, SUI, SIT, FUTA, etc.)
  • Startup payroll challenges
• Collaborate with product to deeply understand workflows
• Interview customers and turn conversations into educational assets
• Own website content structure and information architecture
• Improve organic traffic and conversion rates

You will help define how the outside world understands payroll in the AI era.

You are:

• A sharp storyteller with structured thinking
• Strong in SEO fundamentals (keyword research, on-page optimization, search intent)
• Curious about payroll, compliance, tax systems
• Able to simplify complex regulatory concepts
• Comfortable working directly with founders
• Not afraid of technical documentation
• Detail-oriented and structured
• High ownership, high accountability

• You’ve written product documentation before
• You’ve worked on early-stage startups

• Base Salary: $80,000 – $120,000
• Equity: 0.2% – 0.5% (Based on performance in first 3–6 months)
• Founding team visibility
