ROLE - Systems and Network Administrator

* This role is on-site and reports into our Tampa, FL office

The Systems and Network Administrator provides Tier 1-2 support and is responsible for maintaining the organization's hybrid IT infrastructure. This role ensures secure, reliable access to systems, applications, and network services for both on-site and remote employees. The administrator will manage and support endpoints, servers, cloud services, and core network components.

Duties & Responsibilities Systems Administration
  • Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and One Drive.
  • Manage user identities in Active Directory and Azure AD (Entra ).
  • Deploy, configure, and manage endpoints using Intune or Endpoint Central.
  • Monitor and respond to endpoint security alerts (EDR, antivirus, compliance).
  • Support server environments including Windows Server, virtualization platforms (VMware/Hypera

    AAV), and backup solutions (Cohesity).
  • Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and end-user training materials.
  • Perform and support onboarding and offboarding processes.
Network Administration
  • Provide support for VPN connectivity, WiaAA'Fi, LAN, and basic network troubleshooting.
  • Assist in maintaining network infrastructure, including HP Aruba switches and Forti Gate firewalls.
  • Apply networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs, and security best practices.
  • Collaborate with service providers, MSPs, and vendors to resolve complex network and infrastructure issues.
General IT Support
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and problem resolution for end users.
  • Participate in IT projects and improvements to enhance system reliability and security.
Requirements Knowledge & Skills
  • Proficiency with Windows 10/11 administration.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 administration and cloud services.
  • Endpoint management, patching, and compliance enforcement.
  • Solid networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Wi-Fi, routing basics).
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and time-management skills.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Power Shell scripting and automation.
  • Experience with VMware, Hypera

    AA'V, or Azure infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, or MDM solutions.
  • Ability to support and maintain network infrastructure (HP Aruba switches, Forti Gate firewalls, Windows Servers).
  • Familiarity with security tools or SIEM platforms.
  • Experience supporting SaaS applications and integrating cloud services.
Experience & Education
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in information technology or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of progressive IT support or systems administration experience.
  • Relevant certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, networking or security) are a plus.
