Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Cloud & Digital Banking)

We are seeking a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to lead quality engineering initiatives supporting cloud-based online and mobile banking applications. This role is responsible for driving QA automation strategy, integrating quality practices into Agile development workflows, and delivering high-impact backlog items that support digital transformation.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in enterprise application testing, modern automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, and Agile methodologies. You will serve as a quality champion, mentor team members, and help evolve engineering practices to maximize automation, performance, and continuous delivery.

• Lead and expand QA automation initiatives across enterprise cloud applications
• Develop innovative approaches in Automation, Performance Engineering, Continuous Testing, Continuous Delivery, BDD, and TDD
• Champion the transition from manual testing to automation where appropriate
• Integrate QA workflows into CI/CD pipelines and modern SDLC practices
• Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams, product owners, and developers to ensure high-quality releases
• Define and implement QA standards, strategy, and quality metrics
• Build and execute automation test suites across APIs and UI layers
• Promote best practices to continuously improve test coverage and product reliability
• Mentor team members and provide technical guidance on quality engineering solutions
• Stay current with evolving QA tools, technologies, and industry trends

• 6+ years of experience as a lead tester for enterprise applications
• 6+ years of experience using test management tools (MTM, HP Quality Center, or similar)
• Experience testing cloud-native applications (API and UI layers)
• Strong hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools (Selenium, Cucumber, Postman, Ready
  
  API, etc.)
• Experience building and executing automation test suites
• Experience supporting Agile environments
• Strong SQL skills (No
  
  SQL knowledge preferred)
• Ability to mentor others, review test coverage, and produce quality metrics
  
  Strong troubleshooting and complex problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders

• Knowledge of financial services or credit union systems
• Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements
