The Opportunity:

A well-functioning Airborne ISR Operations center is critical to enable DoW to achieve their missions. We seek an experienced Systems Administrator with an operational mindset who can provide the best capability to warfighters by upgrading and expanding network-wide infrastructure, troubleshooting complex issues, and increasing security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical systems.

As a Systems Administrator on our team, you will support a mission-critical global C2

ISR Infrastructure to enable sensor data transport. You will upgrade and expand network-wide infrastructure, troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, analyze current working infrastructure, and improve security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical systems. You will influence team members, the customer, and vendors to define and provide solutions for sensor data transport requirements, optimize client operations, and support modernization.

You will operate with extreme ownership and accountability for outcomes, proactively identify problems, drive solutions, and ensure completion without reliance on external direction. You take personal responsibility for mission success, team performance, and deliverable quality, owning both successes and failures. You anticipate risks, remove obstacles, and act decisively to close gaps before they impact schedule, cost, or performance. You operate with a "no excuses" mindset while maintaining professional humility and continuous improvement.

You Have:

• 2+ years of experience with a Network Operations Center or Service Desk supporting customers in a technical environment
• Experience with virtual applications, including VMware vSphere, vCenter, or ESXi
• Experience with network administration or network engineering, including monitoring, diagnostic, and analytics tools, and configuring and installing network devices and services such as routers and switches
• Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in systems administration, or 7+ years of experience in systems administration in lieu of a degree
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.01-M or DoDM 8140.03 Certification such as Security+ within 30 days of start date

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with VMWare NSX
• Experience developing standard operating procedures (SOPs), quick reference guides, and training materials
• Experience with root-cause analytic tools to measure article performance, deflection rates, and usage metrics
• Knowledge of Gem One and KG
• Ability to analyze ticket trends and propose knowledge gaps or process improvement

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and contract-specific requirements. The projected compensation range is $61,900.00 to $ (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
