Position Summary
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Manual QA Engineer to ensure the quality, accuracy, and reliability of software applications and data workflows. This role focuses on manual testing, data validation, pipeline review, and defect documentation, while helping build the foundation for future automation efforts.
ResponsibilitiesManual QA
- Execute manual test cases across web apps, APIs, and internal systems
- Validate functionality, usability, and performance
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps
- Perform regression testing before releases
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues
Data Validation & Pipeline Review
- Validate data accuracy across systems and databases
- Review pipeline items to ensure correct processing and data integrity
- Reconcile bookings, transactions, and reports to identify discrepancies
- Document and elevate inconsistencies
Documentation & Process Improvement
- Create and maintain test plans, cases, and QA documentation
- Develop structured validation procedures and checklists
- Contribute to QA process improvements and future automation planning
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of manual QA or software testing experience
- Strong data validation and pipeline review experience
- Basic SQL knowledge preferred
- Experience with SaaS or data‑driven platforms preferred
- Proficiency with QA tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- API testing experience (e.g., Postman)
- Understanding of data pipelines and system integrations
- Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Cypress)
- Experience in high‑growth SaaS environments
