We are seeking a highly skilled Epic Cadence Prelude Analyst to join our team to support the design, build, testing, and optimization of Epic Cadence Prelude modules as part of a new Epic implementation. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Epic Prelude, strong knowledge of outpatient registration, scheduling, and pre‑registration workflows, and the ability to translate clinical and operational requirements into functional Epic solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and workflow requirements related to patient registration, scheduling, and pre‑visit processes.
- Configure and build Epic Cadence Prelude modules, including registration, scheduling, and front‑end workflows, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and best practices.
- Collaborate with other Epic analysts (e.g., Resolute, Willow, Clarity) to ensure interoperability and seamless data flow across Epic modules.
- Design and execute unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT) for Epic Cadence Prelude functionality.
- Develop test scripts, validation plans, and defect tracking documentation.
- Assist in the creation of training materials and provide end‑user support during go‑live and post‑go‑live stabilization.
- Participate in Epic build review sessions and contribute to workflow optimization initiatives.
- Support ongoing monitoring, troubleshooting, and enhancement of Epic Prelude workflows after deployment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of Epic Prelude / Cadence experience, preferably in a hospital or large ambulatory setting.
- Previous experience in Epic implementation projects, preferably full lifecycle (design, build, test, deploy).
- Active Epic Cadence Certification
- Active Epic Prelude Certification
- Strong knowledge of Epic Prelude, Cadence, and related modules.
- Experience with Epic configuration, build documentation, and workflow design.
- Proficiency in testing methodologies, test case creation, and defect tracking.
- Familiarity with Epic reporting tools (e.g., Clarity, Reporting Workbench) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, capable of interacting with clinical and operational teams.
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to translate complex workflows into Epic system configurations.
