This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) solutions. This role requires a strong focus on service delivery and service assurance to ensure that network services meet the performance and reliability expectations of the organization and its customers.

• Network Design:
  Develop and implement SD-WAN architecture that aligns with business needs and enhances network performance.
• Service Delivery:
  Oversee the deployment of SD-WAN solutions, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Service Assurance:
  Monitor network performance and implement measures to ensure service availability, reliability, and security.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with cross-functional teams, including network engineering, operations, and security, to integrate SD-WAN solutions into the existing infrastructure.
• Technical Leadership:
  Provide technical guidance and expertise to stakeholders regarding SD-WAN best practices and technologies.
• Vendor Management:
  Collaborate with SD-WAN vendors to evaluate and select appropriate solutions and manage ongoing relationships.
• Documentation:
  Maintain comprehensive documentation of network designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Troubleshooting:
  Identify and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
• Training and Support:
  Provide training and support to operational teams and clients on SD-WAN functionalities and management.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree
• Experience:
  
  15+ years relevant experience. Proven experience in network architecture, specifically with SD-WAN solutions.
• Technical Knowledge:
  Strong understanding of networking principles, WAN technologies, and service delivery frameworks.
• Service Assurance Knowledge:
  Familiarity with service assurance methodologies and tools to monitor and enhance network performance.
• Certifications:
  
  Relevant certifications in networking (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) or SD-WAN technologies are preferred.
• Analytical
  
  Skills:
  
  Ability to analyze complex network data and make informed decisions to improve service delivery.
• Communication
  
  Skills:
  
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience with specific SD-WAN vendors (e.g., Cisco Viptela, VMware SD-WAN by Velo Cloud, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud networking and integration of SD-WAN with cloud services.
• Strong project management skills.
