Senior Vice President, AI Product

Position Summary

Ashley Furniture is embarking on a bold transformation to become an AI-First enterprise. The SVP, AI Product will play a pivotal role in driving this change by leading the company’s AI product strategy, portfolio, and delivery. Reporting directly to the Chief AI Officer, this leader will define and execute the AI product vision and roadmap, build a world‑class product organization, and partner with engineering, data, platform, and business functions to build innovative and scalable AI‑native applications, agentic workflows, and automation capabilities that deliver transformational impacts on customer experience, operational efficiency, and unlock next‑level business growth.

• AI Strategy & Portfolio:
  Define Ashley’s multi‑year AI product strategy and roadmap, aligned with enterprise priorities and transformation goals. Own the enterprise AI product portfolio; run ROI‑driven portfolio reviews with senior leadership.
• AI Product Delivery:
  Lead cross‑functional teams to design, develop, and scale applications and multi‑agent workflows across retail, supply chain, and manufacturing. Establish a modern AI product delivery operating model integrating business, engineering, and platform teams.
• AI Product Innovation:
  Drive AI product innovation in agentic commerce, customer service, supply chain planning, and manufacturing automation. Identify emerging technologies and accelerate high‑value use cases from concept to measurable impact.
• User Value & Adoption:
  Implement product discovery and experimentation frameworks, define value metrics, and drive product adoption through structured enablement and change management.
• Governance & Risk:
  Partner with AI Governance, Security, and Legal to implement privacy, security, and safety guardrails, ensuring compliance, auditability, and responsible AI operations.
• Platform & Data Alignment:
  Collaborate with AI Platform and Data teams to ensure product performance meets enterprise SLAs (latency, reliability, cost, data quality).
• Team Leadership:
  Build and mentor a high‑performing AI Product organization; develop embedded AI champions across business functions; foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and accountability.
• Vendor Partnerships:
  Evaluate and manage strategic AI technology partnerships. Lead build‑vs‑buy decisions based on business value and technical feasibility.
• Financial Ownership:
  Oversee AI product budgets, measure realized business benefits, and report portfolio ROI to executive leadership.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science or a related quantitative field. Advanced technical degree preferred.
• 12+ years of product management experience, including 5+ years leading AI/ML products at enterprise scale.
• Demonstrated success delivering AI‑powered products with measurable business outcomes.
• Deep understanding of LLMs, context engineering, RAG, MCP, multi‑agent AI systems, AI evaluation framework, model fine‑tuning, and operational considerations (latency, cost, reliability, privacy).
• Experience in vibe coding and app development tools (e.g. Replit, lovable, Streamlit etc.).
• Exceptional executive communication skills and stakeholder alignment across technology and business functions.
• Demonstrated leadership in building and managing high‑performing product teams.
