Position Title: Mainframe Developer
Job Location: Tampa, FL or Jersey City, NJ (Onsite)
Joining Mode: Long Term Contract
Job Summary: Strong experience in Mainframe technologies (COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL) and batch/online processing environments.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL and related technologies.
- Ensure smooth operation of mainframe systems through updates and enhancements.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and issue resolution.
- Work closely with business analysts, system engineers, and cross-functional teams to meet business crédito requirements.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and support materials.
- Optimize application performance and system efficiency.
- Languages: COBOL, JCL, SQL, Assembler
- Tools & Environments: CICS, DB2, VSAM, z/OS, ISPF, Mainframe Utilities
- Concepts: SDLC, batch & online processing, data analysis, system integration
