Data Analyst, Data Science Manager
Overview
Sage Sure is seeking a Senior Innovation Product Analyst to drive the analytics and process discipline behind our new business onboarding and inspection vendor performance. This role is high‑impact, designed to scale operations across multiple inspection vendors, ensure consistency and accuracy in post‑bind activities, and improve our models and processes.
What you’d be doing- Transform, analyze, and visualize a wide array of inspection data streams across multiple inspection vendors to identify inconsistencies, gaps, and performance trends.
- Develop and maintain documentation, playbooks, and guidelines for replacement cost estimation, and other onboarding processes.
- Partner with Data Science to provide operational input and validate models used to optimize inspections and vendor selection.
- Build dashboards and reports to track inspection vendor outcomes, cycle times, and quality metrics.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance vendor performance, reduce cost, and improve onboarding efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Software, Data Management, Underwriting) and external stakeholders to ensure alignment andуң adoption of analytics‑driven insights.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leaders to inform vendor strategy and operational decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, analytics, data science, or a related technical field.
- 5–7 years of experience analyzing large datasets and translating complex data into actionable insights for business partners.
- Proficiency in statistical data analysis and modeling techniques and experience with Python, R, SQL, Zapier, or similar tools.
- Strong time‑management skills with the ability to advance multiple projects simultaneously.
- Track record of documenting processes and building scalable playbooks that drive measurable operational outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to apply critical thinking across disciplines.
- Experience in property & casualty insurance operations or other high‑volume, highly regulated industries.
- Prior work experience within a home‑service‑related role.
- Post‑graduate degree in engineering, business, analytics, data science, or a related technical field.
