• The Application Analyst II responsibilities include oversight and facilitation of resources on application activities, including second and third tier application support.
• This role assists with projects related to upgrades and new application implementations.
• They act as an escalation point for application support and drive the implementation and utilization of key applications assigned.
• They help the team develop the roadmap for those applications.
• The Application Analyst II must respond to application/system issues and ensure resolution and ongoing stability of the product.
• They prioritize work independently based on customer needs and departmental priorities.
• They escalated and drive resolution of business, clinical, and technical concerns.
• They have greater responsibility than junior analysts and assist senior and consulting level roles with various support and initiatives for the application services team.
• Supports team, division, and multiple facilities as a key IT resource for application implementation and support.
• Applies fundamental concepts and principles gained through experience to solve a range of problems.
• Considered the subject matter expert (SME) for applications as assigned.
• Assists in multi‑facility application implementation initiatives.
• Provides support by working with enterprise and facility resources as an application SME to resolve service desk incident tickets for assigned applications.
• Participates in on‑call rotation and/or after‑hours support as needed.
• Collaborates with enterprise, division, and/or facility resources to monitor and facilitate new application testing and implementation.
• Assists senior and consulting application analysts to develop policies and procedures, best practices, and deliver training as needed.
• Assists senior and consulting analysts in process improvement efforts to streamline efficiency.
• Promotes and supports a broad range of division application standardization, utilization, integration, and optimization efforts.
• Leads and conducts facility rounding to ensure support needs are met, interactions documented, and issues escalated as needed.
