DevSecOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• We are hiring a Dev Sec Ops  Engineer in NY (hybrid) (remote, NY working hours).
• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for application build, test, and deployment.
• Integrate security scanning, compliance checks, and vulnerability management into development and deployment workflows.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and application deployment using modern Dev Sec Ops  tools.
• Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams to ensure security is embedded throughout the SDLC.
• Support and enhance containerization, orchestration, and cloud environments with a strong focus on security best practices.

• CI/CD, Version Control & Security Integration:
  Experience building enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines;
  Git Hub (branching, PR workflows, Git Hub Actions), Git Hub Actions (secure workflows, secrets management, runner configuration), Jenkins (scripted/declarative pipelines, shared libraries), Sonar Qube (code quality, SAST), Fortify (static code analysis, security scanning);
  Experience setting up artifact repositories (Nexus, JFrog, ECR).
• Configuration Management & Automation:
  Ansible (roles, playbooks, secure inventory handling), Puppet (manifests, modules, environment management), Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tooling (Terraform or Cloud Formation).
• Scripting & Development:
  Bash, Python, Groovy (both for Jenkins and development). Ability to write automation scripts.
• Cloud: EC2, S3, IAM (roles, policies, least privilege), VPC networking basics, AWS Cloud Watch, SSM, ECS/EKS.
• Nice to have:
  Docker, Open Shift, Helm.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
