Hiring Salary/Salary Range: $15/hour

Required availability:
Minimum 18 hours per week. Hours vary Monday–Sunday. Must be available Mon‑Fri and weekends. Hours listed:
Mon‑Fri 8 am–5 pm, Saturdays 10 am–6 pm, Sundays 12 pm–6 pm.

Position Qualifications

Minimum

High school diploma or equivalent, with one year of general office or customer service experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Work Authorization

The selected candidate must have current work authorization in the United States. This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.

Preferred

  • Experience with Windows 10/11, Android, macOS and iOS
  • One year of professional computing experience
  • Technical documentation experience
  • Two years of college experience

  • Understanding of computer systems and peripheral equipment
  • Strong customer service skills with empathy and de‑escalation techniques

Duties

Please note that the following description of duties is not exhaustive:

  • Provide Level I Service Desk support for hardware, software, and end‑user inquiries. Interactions with customers will be primarily in‑person at walk‑up desk locations, but support via phone, chat, and email may also be required.
  • Create and manage trouble tickets using IT Service Management ticketing system.
  • Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions, including clear descriptions of requests and technical issues, specific actions taken, and final resolution.
  • Support system software used by the USF community and affiliates.
  • Assist clients with printing issues at walk‑up locations.
  • Work with customers to create .
