OverviewTechnical Writer I
Provide publications authoring, editing, workflow management, and electronic records support for USCENTCOM HQ at Mac Dill AFB.
Key Duties- Author and edit regulations, policies, memorandums, forms, and instructions.
- Perform quality control ensuring accuracy, formatting, and correct security markings.
- Maintain publication review workflows; track expirations and updates.
- Administer NIPR/SIPR SharePoint portals for publications.
- Develop and deliver USCENTCOM Publications training courses.
- Support staff functions including taskers, briefings, and records management.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and related tools.
- Knowledge of DoD publications standards and Joint command structures.
- Prior USCENTCOM or Combatant Command experience.
- Experience supporting DOPSR review processes.
