Senior Systems Analyst

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst.

• Develop complex software based on specifications provided; collaborate with Business Systems Analysts and/or Business Partners to develop software specifications.
• Implement software packages for which in-depth configuration and integration are required; drive substantial interaction with vendor resources.
• Integrate applications with complex interfaces based on specifications provided.
• Provide 24×7 primary and/or secondary support for one or more applications classified as niche, core, or mission critical.
• Support the request and analysis phases of SDLC by producing required documentation and estimates; review deliverables produced by junior staff.
• Execute the design, development, and implementation phases of SDLC by producing prescribed deliverables; review deliverables produced by junior staff.
• Participate on an Application Development and Support team as well as project teams under the direction of manager or project managers; may function as Technical Lead on any project.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information/Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or equivalent discipline from an accredited institution.
• 6 years of experience in systems analysis, design, and development.
• Strong knowledge of business software applications and hardware technologies; stays current with IT industry trends and emerging technologies; suggests application of innovative technologies when appropriate.
• Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills; frequently presents information to team and department.
• Strong working knowledge of MS SQL and SQL Server Management Studio.
• Demonstrate knowledge of fundamental concepts of (Ex. Python, C#, ) programming languages and use of developer tools (PL/SQL Developer, SQL Server Management Studio, Microsoft Visual Studio).
• Understand project plans and able to clearly articulate role, project goals, and timelines; develop project plans for small projects; partner with Project Managers to develop project plans for large projects.
• Create and review technical design specifications and possess knowledge of development tools and technologies in support of Information Technology Architecture.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
