In the digital economy, upgrading outdated processes, systems and information is essential. As a Service Now Senior Consultant, you’ll play a leading role in providing agile and efficient solutions for business decision‑making. You’ll lead Service Now Transformation teams, motivate and develop your team, and establish and maintain new client relationships. You will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring implemented technology meets stakeholder requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Interact with business stakeholders to evaluate business models and processes.
- Analyze newly implemented technology solutions to verify they meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver system architecture solutions.
- Engage with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Facilitate requirements workshops and client process/design sessions.
- Support management activities such as planning, status reporting, budgets and risk/issue logs.
- Provide high‑quality deliverables and project artifacts.
- Be a workstream lead across all aspects of a Service Now SPM project, including design, configuration/development, testing and deployment.
- Lead and mentor a multi‑disciplinary team of 3‑5 resources, including offshore consultants, developers and testers.
- Provide guidance and industry‑leading practice expertise for Service Now SPM process implementations.
- Analyze a company’s people, process and technology capabilities, recommend best practice and contribute insights to strategic roadmaps.
- Lead client process and design sessions and facilitate requirements workshops.
- Experience in waterfall and agile delivery models, supporting planning, status reporting and risk/issue logs.
- Ability to create high‑quality deliverables and project artifacts.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Engineering or similar discipline.
- 2‑4 years of relevant Service Now SPM project experience.
- Service Now Certified Systems Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist – Strategic Portfolio Management.
- 3+ years of Big‑4 or equivalent consulting experience.
- Excellent soft‑skills: communication, adaptability, problem‑solving, teamwork, relationship building, dependability and organization.
- Experience leading teams and supervising others.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Ability to travel to meet client needs.
- Service Now Certified Master Architect (CMA) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
- Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM or Data Foundations.
- Performance analytics and reporting experience – certifications are a plus.
- Experience in Service Now’s AI solutions (Now Assist, Agentic, AI Control Tower).
- A comprehensive compensation and benefits package, including medical, dental, pension, 401(k) and paid time off. Base salary ranges from $102,500 to $187,900 across U.S. locations.
- Hybrid work model: most external, client‑serving roles work together in person 40‑60% of the time.
