- Design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions.
- Maintain cloud infrastructure, automate processes, and optimize performance and costs.
- Configure scalable and secure cloud infrastructure components such as virtual machines, networks, storage, and databases on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Automate tasks using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools and scripting languages such as Terraform, Ansible, or Power Shell.
- Optimize cloud resources for cost-efficiency, scalability, and performance, leveraging services such as auto-scaling, load balancing, and serverless computing.
- Implement robust security controls to protect cloud environments and data, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Implement cloud-native applications, microservices, and containerized workloads.
- Design and build ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, process and transform large datasets from multiple sources. Write Python code for complex data transformation and analysis tasks. Integrate Gitlab with third party tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and application deployment. Requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
- 5 years of experience in cloud engineering or related role, with hands‑on experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- 4+ years of experience in the following: building and managing data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows; developing and implementing code using common programming language such as C#, .NET, Java, Python. Experience in (1) developing and consuming RESTful APIs or Graph
QL; and (2) infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies. Proven expertise in managing Gitlab CI/CD pipelines.
Compensation
- $149,000 - $159,500
