The Impact you will have in this role

As a member of the Enterprise Test Engineering (ETE) family, you will be responsible for ensuring that all applications and systems meet defined quality standards. The ETE family encompasses functional testing, non-functional testing, and test architecture and enablement, with focus areas including regression testing, browser testing, performance testing, capacity and stress testing, resiliency testing, environment management services, and infrastructure testing. You will develop, conduct, and evaluate testing processes, collaborating with developers to remediate identified defects.

You should have in-depth knowledge of automated testing tools and quality control approaches, including creating reusable foundational test automation frameworks for the organization.

The Test Engineering role provides centralized, independent quality assurance services across the firm, including functional and non-functional testing for all products, services, and applications. You will design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions, provide testing expertise, and ensure that design specifications are met.

Your Primary Responsibilities

• Build robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation solutions for functional and regression testing
• Prepare, maintain and implement test cases based on user stories; present results and track defects to closure
• Build, customize, deploy, and manage test automation frameworks
• Maintain traceability from business requirements through test cases to automated scripts
• Review test cases and automation approaches with collaborators to ensure comprehensive coverage
• Track test execution breakthroughs, report issues and risks that may affect timelines
• Construct end-to-end business scenarios aligned with business objectives
• Collaborate with delivery pipeline teams to drive adoption and resolve open issues
• Identify environmental and data dependencies; manage and maintain environment and data
• Provide guidance on test coverage and test cases
• Develop a detailed understanding of the product being delivered
• Ensure process compliance and associated documentation
• Align risk and control processes with day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of related experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering) preferred or equivalent experience

Talents Needed for Success

• 8+ years of QA testing experience
• Minimum 4 years hands-on automation experience
• Experience using Java, TestNG, Selenium
• Strong knowledge of API and UI automation standards and best practices
• In-depth knowledge of common automation design patterns (e.g., Page Object Model)
• Knowledge of software development methodologies
• Strong debugging and triage skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, deadline-driven, able to handle multiple responsibilities in an enterprise agile environment
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines; high motivation, integrity, and responsibility
• Experience testing APIs using Postman or Rest Assured
• Experience with multithreaded test execution
• Experience writing test documentation (test plans, strategies, or post-testing reports)
