SAP Consultant, Systems Analyst
Overview
SAP - Production Planning (PP) Senior - Consulting - Location OPEN s role focuses on leveraging SAP technology to improve client operations within the Core Supply Chain capability, with emphasis on SAP Manufacturing and PP modules. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to drive outcomes and sustainable results.
Key Responsibilities- Interact with business stakeholders to evaluate models and processes.
- Analyze newly implemented technology solutions to verify they meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver system architecture solutions.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Resource (SMR) for SAP Manufacturing during project implementations; facilitate design workshops, gather requirements, and recommend S/4 HANA best practices.
- Guide the implementation of SAP PP solutions within client ecosystems.
- Demonstrate SAP PP and related modules with strong business acumen.
- Provide exceptional client service by tracking milestones, managing risks, and maintaining clear progress communications.
- Develop and sustain relationships with key client personnel at all levels.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Typically 2-4 years of related work experience in a functional capacity with exposure to SAP Production Planning (PP).
- At least 2 years of experience with SAP ERP and/or SAP S/4
HANA in the SAP manufacturing domain. - Experience with configuration, master data, and end-to-end understanding of SAP PP.
- Strong technical skills in application functional design.
- Experience defining technology business requirements, analysis, and mapping.
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills; experience delivering work products such as business process design documents and functional specifications.
- Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations and new technologies.
- Willingness to travel (estimated 40-60%).
- Prior consulting industry experience or deep functional experience in manufacturing.
- Experience with SAP external integrations to MES, MII, ME, DMC, etc.
- SAP certifications in SAP Manufacturing, QM or related modules in production execution.
- Experience with at least one full-cycle SAP PP or QM implementation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
