Peraton provides USSOCOM, its Component Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), deployed forces, CIO/J6, and end-users with high-quality IT platform and network services over an eight-year period.

Peraton requires Systems Administrators to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) at Mac Dill AFB in Florida. The purpose of the task order is to provide USSOCOM and its associated commands with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (Net Ops); maintain systems and network infrastructure;

provide end‑user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training; and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. Systems Administrators perform admin‑level support in accordance with the SIE OPORD, continuously monitor system performance, and intervene when hardware or software failures occur.

• Deploying VMs to an operational state, installing operating system software, patches, and upgrades; taking and reverting to snapshots in vCenter.
• Analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving system hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Configuring, optimizing, fine‑tuning, and monitoring operating system software and hardware.
• Performing system daily checks, action incidents, and CRQs in Remedy.
• Conducting server builds on VMware and Nutanix hypervisors.
• Completing troubleshooting issues related to the infrastructure; installing and renewing certificates for infrastructure components.
• Developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures for the environment.
• Maintaining Nutanix components, network access, and troubleshooting system anomalies to ensure optimum performance.
• Providing basic support of Identity Management roles, policies, permissions, hardware, and software.
• Shift work required.

• Minimum of 12 years of experience with HS Diploma, 10 years with an AS/AA degree, 8 years with a BS/BA degree, 6 years with an MS/MA, or 3 years with a PhD.
• Minimum of 2 years as a Systems Administrator or 3 years in complex end‑user desktop and mobile device support.
• Background in the specific types of hardware and software systems (VMware, Dell, HP, and CISCO) used by the Government.
• A DoD TS/SCI clearance is required.
• DoDD 8570.01‑M IAT II.

• MCSA in a relevant field or Microsoft Certified Associate in a pertinent area.
• VMware Certified Associate (VCA).
• Nutanix (highly desired).

Target Salary Range: $80,000 – $128,000. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
