OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst (Finance) to support our Workday Financials implementation.
75% remote, 25% travel. 6 months duration
40 hours per week
This role will focus on documenting current-state processes, reviewing tenant configuration for accuracy, and creating future-state process documentation that will guide end-to-end testing.
As part of our nonprofit healthcare system’s finance transformation, you will collaborate closely with Finance Operations, Finance Systems, and Information Services teams, as well as our Workday implementation partners. You will ensure that the system design aligns with organizational needs and industry best practices.
Responsibilities- Document current-state finance processes.
- Review tenant configuration for accuracy.
- Create future-state process documentation to guide end-to-end testing.
- Support end-to-end testing efforts (UAT, SIT, and regression testing) in collaboration with Workday implementation partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational needs and industry best practices.
Required
- 3+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, with direct involvement in ERP or Workday Financials projects.
- Strong background in documenting current-state and future-state finance processes.
- Knowledge of Workday FDM, Banking & Settlements, and Expenses modules.
- Experience with system configuration review, UAT, SIT, and regression testing support.
- Excellent written, verbal, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and travel occasionally for project milestones and go-live support.
Preferred
- Experience in nonprofit or healthcare organizations.
- Familiarity with Workday Studio, Prism Analytics, and integrations.
- Knowledge of internal controls, compliance, and audit practices.
- Background in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma).
