Summary

Sugpiat Defense is seeking a TECHNICAL AND LOGISTICAL SERVICES SUPPORT SME to support our DoD Client. We focus on delivering innovative operations and solutions through proven methods. Qualified personnel will provide technical and logistical training services in support of existing and future JHQ/JTF training management programs, curricula, exercise regimens, and other training activities that enhance JHQ/JTF capability performance. Technical support must include services that assist in the design, development, management, operations, maintenance, evaluation, and testing of current or prospective JHQ/JTF training and exercise programs, specialized courses, and exercise events.

Support is performed by personnel with demonstrated experience working jointly with JHQ/JTFs to support commands, agencies, organizations, and mission partners. They provide effective support to JHQ/JTF operations and Mission Support Element (MSE) efforts erty, NC, leveraging USSOCOM resources and coordinating with other supporting commands and agencies.

Essential Job Functions
  • Develop, update, and deliver JHQ/JTF staff training courses and related courseware as required.
  • Facilitate the execution of training courses when and where needed (e.g., virtually, mobile training team, fixed-site facility, hybrid).
  • Provide technical and logistical engineering services to install and integrate new and existing training/support equipment.
  • Analyze and resolve technical problems discovered during installation and operation of JHQ/JTF training and support equipment.
  • Perform technical verification of JHQ/JTF-related training and support equipment, including physical, functional, performance, cost, and validation tasks.
  • Design, develop, and execute a JHQ/JTF assessment program for USSOCOM and provide analysis to inform future employment of the JHQ/JTF capability.
  • Coordinate USSOCOM and JHQ/JTF staff actions to acquire and sustain supplies and materials.
  • Provide J37 FORGEN Branch Chief and staff timely, detailed, analysis-based reports concerning JHQ/JTF and MSE support requirements and proposed solutions.
  • Provide updates to the J37 FORGEN Branch Chief and JHQ/JTF leadership on assigned Lines of Effort (LOE) and projects.
  • Assist in activities involved in the force generation and sustainment of JHQ/JTF as directed by USSOCOM.
  • Coordinate SOF and align them to resourcing requirements specified in plans, orders, and other planning documents; identify gaps and suggest revisions.
  • Review and track SOF requirements derived from agreements with DoD services, supporting agencies, and GCC.
  • Plan, organize, and direct activities concerning acquisition, shipment, sustainment, and management of items under the supported organization(s) in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Plan, organize, and supervise the review and development of JHQ/JTF Joint Tables of Allowance (JTAs) and equipment JTAs.
Required Qualifications
  • 3 years experience working directly with the DoD and deploying elements.
  • 5 years experience in logistic activities in a military environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of technical and/or logistical management operations, planning, coordination, and evaluation for deployment readiness and contingency support to JHQ/JTFs.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of theater special operations missions, organizations, systems, and programs, and the ability to sustain technical and/or logistical support requirements.
