Recruiting HR Partner
Reporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition, the Recruiting HR Partner will serve as an integral part of the Talent Acquisition team by providing full-cycle recruitment service for the University of South Florida's Tampa campus. The Recruiting HR Partner will partner with hiring managers to fill exempt and non-exempt positions. This position will research, develop, and implement effective strategies to develop high quality diverse talent pipelines.
Responsibilities- Perform full-cycle recruitment for the Tampa campus through creative and cost-effective sourcing methods to fill exempt and non-exempt positions. Proactively partner with hiring managers to identify current and future hiring needs.
- Assess position requirements and candidate qualifications to ensure alignment with requirements and provide insightful candidate assessments. Interview applicants to evaluate work history, education, training, and job skills.
- Develop and maintain internal and external networks to ensure a strong pipeline of diverse candidates. Use innovative sourcing and marketing/branding techniques to engage both active and passive candidates using sourcing tools including but not limited to Linked In, Twitter, Facebook, and Glassdoor. Attend local job fairs.
- Track, monitor, and report ongoing recruiting activities through the disciplined use of the Applicant Tracking System to ensure data integrity for metrics/reporting.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum
- This position requires a Bachelor’s degree and two years of HR-related experience; or Master’s degree in an area of specialization appropriate for the program. Six years of HR-related experience or a combination of education and experience may substitute for the Bachelor’s degree.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of high-volume recruitment/talent acquisition experience.
- Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System, preferably Oracle and People Soft.
- Significant experience using the full recruiting capabilities of Linked In and other recruiting tools.
- Strong ability with MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Strong communication, organizational and negotiation skills, with a keen focus on delivering business results.
