Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Senior Compliance Manager for a mission-driven electric utility organization supporting critical infrastructure and regulatory compliance. This is a full-time, onsite role based in Tampa, Florida.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Senior Compliance Manager) plays a key role in managing and strengthening a NERC compliance program with a primary focus on Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Reliability Standards. This position partners closely with internal subject matter experts to develop, implement, and maintain audit-ready compliance processes. The role supports continuous improvement initiatives while staying current on evolving regulatory requirements impacting the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Guide internal stakeholders in developing and maintaining NERC CIP compliance processes and controls
  • Prepare, review, and manage audit-ready evidence for regulatory audits, self-certifications, and assessments
  • Oversee non-compliance documentation, corrective actions, and regulatory responses
  • Support compliance training initiatives and promote a culture of continuous improvement
  • Monitor regulatory developments and assess impact on internal compliance programs
  • Present compliance status updates and recommendations to leadership
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Working knowledge of NERC CIP Reliability Standards and compliance frameworks
  • Experience with auditing, risk management, or regulatory compliance activities
  • Strong ability to analyze data, manage documentation, and meet regulatory deadlines
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented professional able to lead cross-functional efforts
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
  • Salary: $130,000 annually
  • Exempt, full-time direct hire position
