This role is an Aviation‑focused People Business Partner located in Tampa, FL. You will partner directly with aviation leaders to shape workforce strategy, organization design, and talent planning, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations (FAA, EASA, CASA) and U.S. labor law. The position blends strategy with hands‑on execution in a safety‑critical, multinational environment.

• Partner with aviation and enterprise leaders to build workforce strategy, organization design, and leadership capability.
• Build trusted relationships with people leaders and employees, driving engagement, performance, and a culture of accountability.
• Support Talent Acquisition and People Development teammates; continuously improve recruiting, onboarding, and employee experience across U.S. aviation.
• Guide and resolve complex employee relations matters; coach leaders around wellbeing, inclusion, and compliance.
• Collaborate with People Development and Total Rewards teams to deliver talent, reward, and capability programs that scale with growth across multiple jurisdictions.
• Ensure compliance with regional labor laws and aviation regulations while embedding best‑practice people processes.
• Act as a change partner during organizational growth and transformation, helping leaders and teams navigate change with confidence.
• Operate in a hybrid role based in Tampa, with ad‑hoc travel.

• Strong background in aviation and/or defense; experience in one essential, both highly desirable.
• Solid knowledge of U.S. employment law and complex people issues.
• Track record of building trust and credibility quickly with senior leaders and staff.
• Flexibility and resilience to thrive in a fast‑moving, safety‑critical environment.
• Experience in all phases of the employee lifecycle: workforce planning, talent acquisition, engagement, and employee relations.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels.
• Hands‑on mindset, comfortable with strategy and operational execution.
• High integrity, discretion, and commitment to inclusive, high‑performing teams.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum 8 years resolving complex employee relations issues as an HR Business Partner, People Business Partner, or HR Director.
• Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines: compensation, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and related employment laws.

• Master’s Degree.
• Experience in aerospace/aviation or defense industry.

• Professional in Human Resources or SHRM‑CP.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS.
